Christmas Eve in Bryant Park is Pure Bliss

I just had to share with you my wonderful Christmas Eve in New York City. My first time, & for sure not my last, was so incredible. Staying at the Sofitel Hotel right near Bryant Park was fab!
Sitting in a very mild evening, drinking hot chocolate from No Chewing Allowed and listening to holiday tunes, I felt like I really was in a movie! Such total bliss!
Farm to People was a newer shop to me at the village this year, and I just loved their merchandise. Every product they sell is non GMO, small batch, nothing artificial and humanely raised. Sounds like a foodies dream to me! I could have bought one of everything here, but I behaved. Sort of.
These looked so darn good, and the pumpkin chai they had available for tasting. That one went home with me!
Bacon marmalade. I tried this too and really wanted to purchase but since they sell online, figured I can get it there for a later date.
Drunken Monkey jam? Yeah, I had no restraint here, it went home with me. This is fantastic on a good vanilla bean ice cream.  My local Wegmans is now carrying this line, they have just as good taste as I do !
This hot sauce looked pretty amazing to me!

I found this wonderful bag stand, Viva Zapata, with the most colorful bags I ever laid eyes upon. They are made from the material used for upholstering bus seats in Buenos Aires, the owner Tania lives in Brooklyn. I purchased one that is perfect for my travel to the city, it has many pockets and such great color. I am totally in love with these bags, and the detail they add to each one!
This was getting ready for Christmas Day dinner at Bryant Park Grill.
Just a darn glorious day it was!
There were doughnuts from the Doughnut Project. Many flavors and they looked wonderful. Problem was, I didn't get one Christmas Eve, and they were closed Christmas Day. Total bummer.
Yes, a maple bacon doughnut.
It was probably good I didn't get to try one.
What is a cretzel you ask? A cross between a pretzel and a croissant. There are so many smart folks in New York City I just can't contain myself!

Yes, it was as fabulous as it looks.
I hope you enjoyed these lovely moments from Bryant Park. It is a great place to visit any time of the year, but during Christmas, it is a wee-bit extra special! Be sure you stop by and enjoy all the park has to offer!
