Afternoon Tea at The Morgan Library and Museum

When I visited the city in June, it was really, really hot. So The Morgan Library and Museum had my presence for a good half a day! I had wanted to try their afternoon tea for some time, it is a great price of $21.00 for New York City, and a lovely setting.
The presentation was very nice. I wish the scones didn't have raisins in them, but they were very good and moist.
Their tea served is Harney and Sons, which is one of my favorite brands. The Morgan has 2 dining options: The Morgan Cafe and The Morgan Dining Room. The dining room is more fancy, but both are a most lovely experience. You do not need to purchase a ticket to the museum if you just wish to dine.

The little sandwiches were salmon, ham salad, cucumber and I forget the last one.
The cupcakes were a bit dry, and it would have been nice to have some macarons with them for dessert.

The beauty of this place is always such a treat to the eye!

I would highly recommend Afternoon Tea here, the price is very affordable, and the setting is divine. You can also have regular lunch here, I have had the Morgan Burger and it was to die for! This is for sure a must stop in New York City, and should be on your NYC Bucket List ! Reservations are not required for the tea.
