L'Amico NYC Restaurant Review

My stay at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi  allowed me to try some amazing restaurants. L'Amico NYC was no exception. I must bring some friends back here to enjoy this most amazing food. It was a last minute decision, as was going to eat in Macy's restaurant, but cancelled. This was one of the BEST last minute decisions I have ever made. Hope you are not reading this while hungry. If you are, so sorry!

Featuring an American menu with Italian influences, L’Amico honors the food of both Executive Chef Laurent Tourondel’s past and present – inspired by both his upbringing in the European countryside, and a career spent reimagining and redefining “American” cooking and classics. The restaurant’s menu harkens back to Tourondel’s memories of long Sunday suppers with his maternal, Italian grandmother, filled with memories of freshly flowing produce from his family’s garden that cultivated his own love for simply prepared dishes and precise techniques.

I was able to dine al fresco since the weather was still pretty mild. It is one of the most fun ways to dine in NYC, people watching is an art.

The restaurant decor is really lovely.

I fell in love with that water bottle! The wine was quite tasty as well.
So many great choices on this menu!
AGNOLOTTI, scallops, lobster, shrimp, lemon-mascarpone

I love seafood and this dish just blew my mind! It was sublime.

The waitress suggested the eggplant parmesan and it was pretty darn tasty!
How could you have any better of a meal? The seafood just melted in your mouth and the pasta was freshly made and so light.

I just about kicked them both. Now on to dessert.
Homemade Gelato
Salted Caramel and Blueberry
This had to be one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in the city.

If you are looking for a new place to dine, this is it. I am anxious to get back very soon to try something new on the menu and make a friend very happy!!
