Monique Truong is one lucky gal
these are so amazing....photography is gorgeous and by Beatriz Da Costa

Eclairs are just so popular in Paris

Please be sure to visit the blogs Paris Breakfasts , Paris Pastry and Sweet Freak (who writes about desserts in Paris and New York City) as you will enjoy them very much. It is quite a delight when a blog can take you to a far away place you have never been and make you feel right at home. I really love it when a blog can educate me on a subject I know nothing about .......knowledge is power !! In this case, it's "dessert power" and so wonderful !!

Aw thank you so much for the link :)!! I was just about to book my next Paris vacation in the summer for 2 weeks. Can't wait! Pastries, here I come!!
lucky u - Paris for 2 weeks - should be just amazing!!
I come here with every new post, and wanted to say thanks for beautiful blog and that little sparkle with Sinatra I get everytime I open your blog, but today you had my mouth watering as there has never been an eclair to compete with a Paris one, and I've yet to find a macroon that could ever come close to Laudree's...But I haven't been to NYC in 30 years so maybe you know of one? Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful experiences so I can be transported to a vacation everyday
Gah this is sinful. Someday I'm going to go to Paris and just eat delicious pastry dishes until I can't eat anymore haha!

Merci for the blog link! I can't wait to sit down with a big cup of cocoa and maybe a small plate of macarons and read this article myself. One thing I can tell you: 5000 calories goes really fast in Paris! Bis!
Amanda: they are macaroons and they are amazing! there are some pretty good places to get them in NYC like La Maison du Chocolat....you must try them at least once!
