Limelight Marketplace

Upon our end to the wonderful Chocolate Show, we walked up 6th avenue to get a cab back uptown. To my wandering eyes did appear but the Limelight Marketplace so we had a bit of a detour from our cab. This 163 year old church that formally was home to a nightclub called Limelight in the 80's is now a mini-mall.
After a 15 million dollar renovation, it is 20,000 square feet of shops, cafes and food concession delight. First part of post will be the place itself as the food deserves it's own post......
as we were walking to 6th Avenue we came across this great window for Apple ..these characters always make me laugh !!
gorgeous architecture surrounds you when walking in NYC and I just love it
here we are...looks like a lovely church from the outside
New York's Festival of Shops ....I am soo ready !!
gorgeous when you first walk in
loved the red carpet and black and white floors....very chic
Face Stockholm  has great make up selection
I think this is the Orbit Gallery
pretty decorations
It's Sugar has a shop here to give Dylans some competition but it is different and wonderful as well
dressed out of candy
my kind of dresses
Petrossian is here as well which is great for the best speciality food items like caviar
my favorite LeSportsac has a shop here as well..check out that great gold bag...similar to Coach's line but much cheaper but not cheap on quality. They just started making shoes...I am so in trouble!!
this was a little dizzy but pretty at the same time
another of my faves, MarieBelle is here with a cute, cute cart....love it !!

The last time I was there (hmm, college years …) – it was a mad dance house, and I was wondering what happened to it post reno! Thanks for sharing these photos, great work as always! :)

You do such a good job of showing off these wonderful spots, the Mayor's office ought to give you a job! Now all you need to do is tell me about a great cafe to load up on coffee before I start shopping there!
