Halloween at L.A. Burdick Chocolate Shop and Cafe

We are back at our friends at L.A. Burdick in the Flatiron district. I had a charity trip to the city in early October, and brought a few co-workers to see how lovely this place can be. Paula Burdick was so kind to also donate a basket to raffle off on our trip, and someone celebrating their birthday won it! Paula is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is currently in Grenada working with the cocoa farmers which I think is totally amazing. This chocolate haunted house smelled so so good. Very hard not to just take a bite of it !!
Coffins with candy inside for Halloween so much fun !
The presentation of everything is very elegant
Our selections were all different - a very chocolate cake, coconut cake and a vanilla cake with cream in the center. Such a happy day !!
I was my warm self that day, so opted for an iced latte and yummy cake
Pumpkin latte with a coconut cake here made my co-worker smile
This is a true chocolate lover. LA Burdick's famous cocoa and a wonderful chocolate cake
Nothing was left in the end
I am a sucker for anything pumpkin, this looks so amazing

My piece I took home to share with my Mom was very photogenic !!
The linzer cake was just so tasty, for those who love linzer cookies like my Mom, it is heaven!!

I hope I have tempted you to stop by when you are in the Flatiron district. It is such a lovely quaint cafe to sit and enjoy some wonderful desserts and top of the line chocolates. A real gem in the glorious Flatiron area of NYC !!
