I was very happy to hear from the Italian bakery company Bauli to review their chocolate croissant line. I was familiar with their wonderful Italian line of cakes, such as Panetteone and Pandoro. The company has been in business since 1927. Today, Bauli has their wonderful products in over 70 countries on 5 continents, 5 production facilities, 31 manufacturing lines and 27 distribution centers.
I am quite a lover of croissants, and these are filled with chocolate! They also make them filled with vanilla custard and cherry jelly.
The croissant was very fresh when I took it out of the package.
I enjoyed mine with some Community Coffee, they went very well together!
I toasted mine in the toaster oven, which was a great idea. The smell was amazing, and the croissant was very light and airy. I am not sure if I would have tried these myself, thinking how good can they be, but they are really very, very good.
I took some of these to the office, and everyone that tried one had a smile on their face! They were quite a hit indeed!!
As I had a trip to my local Price Chopper (yes, I do sometimes shop outside of Wegmans!), they had their wonderful cakes! How lovely do these look? My Mom would have went crazy for the lemon one with a cup of tea.
Have you ever tried any Bauli products? What is your favorite?
