Madison Square Eats Spring 2012 Begins Today!!

I had the pleasure of finally checking out Madison Square Eats last year and was really impressed. It is one of the most popular food events in the city, combining many fabulous food vendors all in one place. There has been more stands announced for Spring 2012, which runs from May 4th to June 1st, serving 11am to 9pm. They also have one in the fall which is when I attended last year. They have some tables set up but with Madison Square Park right across the street, you can take your yummies and go to the park to sit and enjoy them. The event is hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy and is just west of the park at 24th and 5th Avenue.

This park is one of my favorites as just so lovely with fountains and lots of seating
The famous Shake Shack is here as well if you wanted to try the famous burgers. Long lines usually here but if you are looking for the cold items, like shakes, it goes quicker.
I do not believe Cuzin's Duzin in on the list for the Spring, but maybe they will be in the fall
Roberta's Pizza is really yummy
Almond was one of the vendors that was there in the fall last year.
I had a lamb meatball sub which was so amazing, I can't even begin to tell you. So far they are not on the list for Spring but maybe will be for the Fall 2012 event.
It gets pretty crowded which is why I preferred to get my food and head to the park to enjoy it
Macaron Parlour is attending for Spring 2012. Peanut Butter Cup Macaron - no more words needed here, be sure to try one or order HERE to have home delivered
The ever-popular Robicelli's cupcakes were here as well. They originate from Brooklyn, and it has been hard for me to find them to try. This was my chance. They did not disappoint.
Sigmund's pretzels are just not an ordinary pretzel. They are very high-end, intense flavor pretzels. You must try one of these too!!
One of my absolute favorites will be here as well for the Spring 2012 event, Stuffed Artisan Cannolis. You must try one of these and you must try a unique flavor. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.

This adorable little guy/gal was heading to Madison Square Eats too! What a cutie!! NYC has the most stylish dogs on earth, I think!!
