Summer Fancy Food Show 2016 Part 5

Our last day at the Summer Fancy Food Show. So sad, no? Well the photo above is one of fresh mozzarella cheese. When you try the fresh version, you will never go back to the other stuff again.

Wonderful display here of olive oil, so healthy for you.

You know there had to be a cannoli photo here eventually? These looked pretty good to me!

Taylors of Harrogate tea was really wonderful, they gave me a few samples to taste. It was really quite delightful, I do love a good earl grey myself.

These wine bottles would make great vases when the wine is gone for your flowers!

I love the displays of products from Italy. They just seem much more artistic then ours in the US. The flour below from Napoli or Naples was one that made me smile, since I am 100% from Naples, Italy. My grandparents would have probably loved this!

If you are a bacon lover, you need this bacon jam spread. It is just mind-blowing! I first found them in a Williams Sonoma, and then again at the show. You can be so creative with this product.

Okay, so they were going for a Lady Gaga look with Barbie! Too much fun!

This lovely cake is actually cheese!

Well I hope you enjoyed this fantastic week at the Summer Fancy Food show. It's great to see so many new products, and many made in the USA as well, which is awesome. I really enjoyed the show, and bringing you all the amazing products. Let me know if you try anything, and how you liked it in the comments section.

Summer Fancy Food Show 2016 Part 4

I am really sorry but we are still at the Fancy Food Show, Day 4. How gorgeous are these chocolates? I unfortunately forgot to get the name, but I thought they were just so lovely for gift giving! They remind me of little works of art.
Have you ever enjoyed Gelato? It is like nothing you have ever tasted. So creamy, and less calories than ice cream. These flavors just about made my head spin!
Authentic Parmigiano-Reggiano is the only kind. Please do not, I repeat, do not use the one in that green can. It isn't real cheese, I am not even sure what it is exactly.
A wonderful chunk of blue cheese, another of my Mom's faves. It doesn't get any better than this.
I just loved this tote from Il Caffe' in Rome, Italy. How cool it has been around since 1938? Good things last forever, don't they?
This lovely Italian gentleman sliced me some Prosciutto and I must say, all that we tried were amazing. Considering they all come direct from Italy, you cannot go wrong. Molto bene (very good, in Italian)

This is just so drool worthy!
Lovely packaged salame which I think packaging is so important. It really draws me to buying something if the packaging is done well.
Italian heaven
This is the Liuzzi Cheese booth and it was pure amazing. They carry some of my most favorite Italian foods - ricotta, fresh mozzarella cheese-
This is ricotta with fruit and a drizzle of honey. I actually used to give this to my Mom after she got sick, it was easy for her to eat and so tasty. She hated when we ran out of it, I was so glad she was able to enjoy such an amazing flavor combo. You can use any type of fruit you like.

The nicest part of these folks was when the lady heard the name of my blog, she made me these wonderful cannoli chips to enjoy! Their ricotta was just to die for, so creamy and smooth, perfect for cannoli filling. Life is oh so good!!
Okay so this is just a smart idea - Parmigiano Cheese flakes! Franco Boni also sells the cheese in cubes and shredded without the rind. I am so glad there are so many smart people in the world! It is so cool seeing all these amazing products available for purchase.

Summer Fancy Food Show 2016 Part 3

We are on our 3rd day of wonderful products from the Summer Fancy Food Show and we have some amazing honey from The Savannah Bee Company. I just love honey, it is so healthy for you to eat and can be used in so many different ways.

I tried their Raw Acacia Honeycomb with fruit, and it was out of this world. I love to have fruit with ricotta and a drizzle of honey as a snack. This would be perfect for that recipe!

Honey is also fabulous in beauty products, and the Savannah Bee Company has many items for you to try. This company is definitely one I will be purchasing from in the future.

There were olives galore at this event. Another of my Mom's most absolute favorites, as well as mine.

I never met an olive I didn't like!

I found these olive oils from California, OOlive Oil to be pretty amazing. As you know, olive oil is so healthy for you and can be used so many different ways. They also make wonderful flavored balsamic vinegar as well.

We saw quite a bit of ginger beer. This company, Top Note, had the best flavored one. One we tried actually had a bitter aftertaste, and I really was not impressed. This one was fantastic, it was so refreshing, I need to order some asap.

I had the pleasure of working with Victoria Amory last year, so was thrilled to meet them at the show. Her products are out of this world, have so much flavor and I love mayo that has some herbs added to it.

Another company I have had the pleasure of working with is Lafaza vanilla. I am a big vanilla fan, when you use the "real" vanilla, it makes such a difference in your baking/cooking. Their new products are the organic vanilla line, and they sell the actual vanilla beans for amazing flavor in your recipes.

This avocado oil is something I have tried before, and is very tasty. I noticed in magazines they were really promoting this type of oil, and wanted to try it. I found La Tourangelle avocado oil in my local supermarket, I really loved the packaging as well. The brand makes various flavors of oils for cooking, as well as beauty oils.

Another company I have purchased from Sucre  located in New Orleans, some of the most amazing desserts including macarons! My local Wegmans even carries their chocolate bars which are pretty fantastic.

Bacon Maple peanuts. 3 words I really love, these from Whitley's were so so good AND they have free shipping on their website!

Hahn's Old Fashioned coffee cakes are another wonderful company I have worked with in the past. They were showcasing their new flavor, mocha cappuccino, at the show. It was pretty tasty and very moist which is how a coffeecake should be. They are famous for their Can of Crumbs which is just the crumbs from the top of the coffee cake, makes a fun and wonderful gift!

The 2nd best maple syrup of the show was from Runamok located in Vermont. They have wonderful flavors available like cardamom, blueberry and cinnamon vanilla. These are on my to order list for future very soon!

As you can see from the first 3 days, I was able to meet many companies I have worked with on this blog. It was so nice to put faces with products, and tell them how much I enjoy their items. It was also great to see many new products as well, and be able to share them with you!

Summer Fancy Food Show 2016 Part 2

We are back for Day 2 of the Fancy Food Show . There were many brands in the show, but 2 stood out to me, Crown Maple, which sells online. They are in business since 2010.

If you have never had "real" maple syrup, you need to try it. It will blow your mind!

HURD Orchards had wonderful jams with the most lovely packaging! When you try real jam, it has such a robust flavor than the fake stuff in the supermarkets. I am very lucky my local Wegmans has many great brands available for me to purchase. Hurd Orchards does sell on their website which is fantastic!
This photo and below is from our friends at MarieBelle which has a lovely chocolate cafe in Soho. This chocolate salami was really so yummy, and makes a unique gift for just about any chocolate lover.

I loved this July 4th holiday macaron tree from Dana's Bakery  was just wonderful

They had cannoli macarons late last year, and I had to order. They were really very good and they ship on their website which makes it so darn easy.

This show was really just food at every turn! How great is this set up ?

Another one of my Mom's favorites, Prosciutto is an Italian dry-cured ham that is usually thinly sliced and served uncooked; it is to die for! We tried quite of few different companies at the show, and they all just melted right in your mouth. This ham tastes wonderful with melon, or just on top of a pizza!

Edmund Fallot has some of the best condiments you will find, and would work great in a food gift basket for sure!

Okay, these just make me laugh! How fantastic are these chocolate bars? I can't even stand it!

They are available at Chelsea Market Baskets, and I need to go and try to figure out which ones I want to purchase! What a hard decision - the Queen and Lady Gaga are just too much!

Yes, I got to meet Bob from Bob's Red Mill. He was very nice, and when he heard I was a blogger, he said that is how customers find out about his products. He has a full time social media person for his company, and it's a fantastic way to reach his customers. We received a signed cookbook as well, which was pretty neat.

The English Provender Co. was another very high quality jam company. They also have ginger and lemon curd which was very tasty. For us in the USA, we can order via Amazon as it is a UK company.

Callie's Biscuits had HOT biscuits and I was very bad and tried 2 flavors! I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful they were, the cinnamon were just pure heaven!

They are available at my favorite food website Goldbely and then you will be a very, very happy person!
