I was really thrilled to find this wonderful vanilla company called LAFAZA on twitter. Yes, twitter. A fabulous foodie chats chat introduced me to this amazing company. I think I love vanilla as much as I do chocolate. As many of you know, I love to bake, and using high quality ingredients is a must. If you are still using that imitation vanilla, STOP! Real vanilla beans are just fabulous. They give you so much flavor when using them in baking or cooking, I don't think you can make a mistake here. You split open the bean, scrape out the inside, and use that to bake or cook with. You can then take what is left and put it in some sugar in a jar and you will have vanilla sugar. Life should always be this perfect! 

I made wonderful Meyer Lemon muffins with the LAFAZA vanilla. The flavor was so rich and tasty. I was so happy with the results. I combined the pure ground vanilla with the extract for a real deep vanilla flavor.
