With all the fun we enjoyed with The Big Egg Hunt in NYC, if you missed my posts they are HERE and HERE, and should not be missed. I just adore Faberge' anything. They make jewelry now as well, which I wish it was a bit more affordable as I would purchase asap. While I visited the 2014 Philadelphia Flower Show, I was not shocked to see they had an exhibit of Faberge' eggs. Just gorgeous!!
I loved the colors on this one. So much detail on these. I would love to see how they go about making these for this show.
Just like the real eggs with lots of color and pearl looking pieces.
This one was exquisitely made
The bird here and the colors are just charming
This green one was really splendid
The two photos below show the items that were used to make these eggs. It never ceases to amaze me when I read these, such talented people indeed!
I hope you enjoyed these lovely photos of these Fabrege' inspired eggs. Are you a fan of Fabrege'? You can see the real thing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I highly suggest you do. You will find yourself staring at them for a good while. And have a BIG smile on your face!!
