This is just a wonderful photo taken in 1941, near corner of Broome St. and Baruch Place, Lower East Side. I love photos when they have so much detail, as this one does. It for sure takes you to a different time in this fantastic city. You have to wonder what the folks in this photograph would think of this same area in 2017.
