I had the pleasure of meeting up with Lisa from Georgie Girl Jewels, and we had one grand afternoon! I gave her a little tour of the Flatiron area, and we had a lovely lunch at my favorite Maison Kayser. I tend to think everyone knows as the places I do, but it turns out, they don't. Maybe I need to look into doing tours of various areas of the city. That would be too much fun!
The desserts here are of course, classic, and we were able to try 2 different sweets! Happy day!
We first had our healthy food, salmon which was just melt-in-your-mouth. Roasted salmon with Tzatziki sauce and greens. I love tzatziki sauce, and it was fabulous with the salmon!
This was a mocha chocolate dessert, we both had smiles from ear to ear when enjoying this one!
This was probably the best lemon tart I ever enjoyed. My Mom was a HUGE lemon lover, and I couldn't help think of her as I was tasting this sweet treat.
It is so nice dining with a friend so you can share! This is for sure a must stop when in the city, I have never had a bad meal here, savory or sweet. It's also nice to pick up some things for breakfast in your hotel room the next morning!
