McCormick and Schmick's has locations in other cities, I would go in another if I saw one while traveling. The decor was really nice, and I brought many friends here during our trips to the city.
New England Clam Chowder is one of my favorites. When I was little, we stayed at a Howard Johnson's and I asked for it for breakfast. The lady actually brought it to me! Guess that was the signs of a foodie starting very young!!
Panko crusted fish was really very tasty with a mango salsa
Raw oysters just melted in your mouth!
A branzino, which is an Italian seabass, is quite a presentation to the table
This was my last meal at this location, stuffed shrimp with a sweet potato mashed and vegetables. I was really disappointed as it was served to me cold, and that shouldn't be. I am not the type to complain, but I should have because the meals here are not cheap. I just felt maybe I wouldn't be going back again. Then I find out they closed. You can't run a restaurant just so-so in New York City. There are so many other options, and people talk. My other favorite seafood restaurant is City Lobster and Steakhouse, they are always packed, and offer 3 course specials which helps travelers a great deal.
You can check out the McCormick and Schmick's website for other locations in the USA.
