Estimate $180,000 to $250,000

I actually had the pleasure of trying on this sapphire ring above at Christie's this past Saturday. 47.08 carats is quite large. And heavy. It was impressive to try this piece on, however, I actually thought it was way too big. The diamond cut gallery it was mounted on was amazing, and I am sorry to say they did not have a side view photo of the ring. I just love going in Christie's and viewing some of these amazing pieces of Jewelry or Art as it is really a museum as well as a auction house. My friend that was with me for the day tried it on as well, did agree with it being too big, but said she could probably get used to it. Gotta love her!!
