Mardi Gras Macaroon Collection by Sucre' Bakery

As I have mentioned before, Twitter has become a very big part of this blog. If you are not following me on Twitter, can you do so HERE. It is a real flourish of amazing companies and new products to be found. I came across Sucre' Bakery on Twitter. When I heard they made mardi gras macaroons with a king cake filling, I knew it was a slow amount of time before I had to order them. I also loved the fact that their prices did not break the bank, and you can get a box of 15 for about $30.00.
the packaging is just beautiful and makes a great gift as well
king cake mousseline - three wonderful words

they travel pretty well as they sit in a plastic tray to keep them from moving around. we had few broken but most of the 15 were in good condition.
my first thought was how darn gorgeous the colors were. the filling is purple and they looked great in this heart ceramic dish my mom made many, many years ago
the flavor is hard to explain but it is the most amazing I have ever had. the outside has a sheen to sparkle to them which is really beautiful. they really just melt in your mouth.
so have you gone to their website yet to order? I can totally understand as I am sure we will be ordering their regular flavors sometime soon again. Sucre' Bakery knows how to bake and bake well. If I ever travel to New Orleans, this place will be number 1 on my to visit list. Make it yours as well !!
