Strawberry Hill Povitica Amazing Giveaway!!

Here at NYC, Style and a little Cannoli, I have formed a policy regarding my giveaways. They have to be products I use myself and know they are of the utmost quality. Who wants to win something that isn't a top notch product? I am so thrilled to be announcing this giveaway with the company Strawberry Hill and their amazing Povitica! My family and I have been enjoying this wonderful delicacy for so many years, I can't even remember how long it has been!! I am so excited to be able to bring this to those who may have never heard of or tried it in the past.

What is Povitica?

Historically, Povitica has been a staple at many holiday and family gatherings for generations. When given as a gift to people outside the family, it was meant as a sign of respect. As time has gone on, the tradition of baking Povitica has become a dying art form. At Strawberry Hill Povitica Co., that tradition lives on with the help of a few dedicated bakers and a passion for what we do. Today we still use Grandmother's recipe: each world famous Povitica is hand-made, hand-rolled, and patiently baked to perfection. Strawberry Hill Povitica begins with our exclusive sweet dough recipe, rolling it into an almost paper thin "skin". Once rolled, each skin is smothered in one of our delicious fillings made with the finest ingredients. We then hand-roll each skin into our signature loaf and carefully bake it to perfection. Each delicious Povitica weighs an amazing 2.5 pounds! (from Strawberry Hill website)

This is the wonderful box as it will arrive to your home. I love the strawberry design all over it as just a happy look for a box!!
Here they are when you open the box!! Yes, they are large, they weigh 2 1/2 pounds each. These are not for the weak.....they are just filled completely with each flavor. The 2 Strawberry Hill sent me were the new "Cokolada" or chocolate and "Cream Cheese". Aside from the traditional English Walnut, they have seasonal flavors such as Blueberry Cream Cheese, Cokolada, Pumpkin Spice. They also make a reduced sugar walnut for those who cannot have the sugar in their diet. All flavors are trans-fat free which is also really great.
The Cream Cheese loaf is out of the bag. It is best to cut this upside down with a serrated bread knife. The dough is so flaky if you cut it upright, it will crumble.
Just look at all those layers of dough in between the cream cheese filling! This is pure heaven!! Every flavor is unique but oh so amazing. I am sure you will find more than one flavor to your liking!!
The new Cokolada is well a chocolate lovers dream........the smell when you take it out of the bag just makes you smile!!
When I cut it, this is what I saw! A chocolate explosion in your mouth awaits!
Coffee and Povitica go together very well indeed!
It is wonderful for breakfast and you can toast it a bit as well for an even tastier (if that is possible) Povitica! It is really unlike anything I have ever had before, such a rich and oh so moist treat!

Povitica can stay fresh for 1 week at room temperature or 2 weeks refrigerated. It can be frozen, however they do not recommend freezing any with the cream cheese filling.

I recently had a chance to try the Cokolada. It was out of this world. It was filled with lots of filling and you could taste the chocolate in fact you could smell the chocolate when I was unwrapping it. My choices would be Cokolada.
