An Evening of Michel Richart Chocolate and Jazz at Bar on Fifth

WORLD RENOWNED FRENCH CHOCOLATIER MICHEL RICHART TO COLLABORATE WITH JAZZ PIANIST ANTONIO CIACCA FOR AN EVENING OF CHOCOLATE AND JAZZ AT BAR ON FIFTH

New York, NY, October 2011 - The swanky Bar on Fifth located inside the luxurious Setai Fifth Avenue Hotel (400 Fifth Avenue)has quickly made a name for itself in the NYC jazz realm, with a world-class program helmed by celebrated jazz pianist and composer Antonio Ciacca.  In recent months, Bar on Fifth has also become synonymous with luxury chocolates through an exclusive partnership with French chocolate maker RICHART Chocolates wherein the chocolate maker has made a series of custom made chocolates available at Bar on Fifth and in-room at the hotel, the only place in New York City where RICHART is sold at retail. Custom collections have been created around Fourth of July, the US Open, the UN General Assembly and now an ode to Bar on Fifth’s own in-house jazz program led by Ciacca.

To celebrate this collaboration of delicious artistic expression, Bar on Fifth will host a one-night only jazz showcase on October 25th from 6-8pm featuring a series of original music composed by Ciacca to pair with each of the five jazz inspired chocolates.

For chocolate extraordinaire Michel Richart this event seemed only natural. "Chocolate and music come together because they both bring happiness," says Richart. "They speak to our heart in a universal way and give us a joy of living."
