Bar Boulud Review

I finally tried a meal at Bar Boulud in the Upper West Side. Quite a popular restaurant, from chef Daniel Boulud, was always on my to-do list. It is right across from Lincoln Center, so if you are seeing a performance there, it is a good spot before or after the show.  
The most delightful croissant I ever enjoyed  
MUSHROOM SOUP

I love mushroom soup and this was probably the best I ever tasted. The flavor was just amazing and I tried not to "yum" out loud while I was enjoying it!  
So rich and creamy, this could have been my whole meal. I opted for the 3 course brunch would be my main meal for the day for $36.00. You can also do a 2 course for $28.00 and brunch is served on weekends from 11 am to 3:30 pm.  
GALETTE BRETONNE

This was most interesting and delish, crepes filled with ham, mushroom and cheese with eggs on top. My Mom used to make her own crepes with just a fry pan and freeze them, then pull out when she wanted to enjoy them. She was such a great cook, and she would have loved this dish. It was so darn good!

Dessert was quite fantastic as well. I would go back here for sure, the food was all totally so good, I would be eager to try some other things, especially when they change the menu. If you are looking for a restaurant in this area, you will not go wrong here!

Sunday: 5:00PM - 10:00PM
Lunch: Monday-Friday: 11:30AM - 2:30PM
Late lunch offered at the bar and terrace from 2:30PM - 5:00PM
Brunch: Saturday and Sunday: 11:00AM - 3:30PM
