One of the BEST parts of the holiday season are the amazing holiday windows in New York City. The city really comes alive during this time of year, and there are so many wonderful things to see and do. I am not a fan of the crowds, but I find if you go off 5th Avenue, it is somewhat less of a frenzy! These are, in my opinion, the best holiday windows you must visit. They are truly works of art, and can take up to a year to make into reality. Bergdorf Goodman, who has one of the most gorgeous displays each year, starts working on the next year's design right after the current holiday season. A fabulous film to watch is Scatter my Ashes at Bergdorfs directed by Matthew Miele which takes you behind the scenes of how these windows are created. It is remarkable what these talented folks can do, and we are oh so lucky to be able to enjoy them each year!
