A few weeks ago, I met the lovely Ellen Christine for Afternoon Tea at the St. Regis Hotel. This hotel is quite historic, and beautiful - a perfect setting for tea.
A gorgeous sitting area on the first floor of the hotel
I was able to stare at the famous mural during my tea. Maxfield Parrish's mural in the King Cole Bar is a homage to the Bloody Mary which you can read more about HERE. It was a fabulous view and only something you can do in New York City!
A very glam room for an elegant tea, wouldn't you say?
the tea was very delish and the sandwiches were filled nicely along with a mini quiche
Wouldn't it be fun to have Afternoon Tea every day? I think so ! The scones were hot out of the oven and worked well with our condiments!
I really loved this plate and wouldn't have minded one to take home. So lovely!!
When you look up, and don't forget to do that, this is what you see! How darn amazing is this?
All in all, my Afternoon Tea at the St. Regis Hotel was very lovely. The company was the best you can find, the atmosphere was heavenly and the food was tasty. We also enjoyed a harp player but I forgot to photograph her.
Have you ever had tea at the St. Regis Hotel?
