The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park
October 27, 2011 - January 8, 2012
The park’s tree-lined paths are transformed into a fabulous holiday shopping destination with custom-designed jewel box kiosks. The vendors are some really wonderful craft people and if you are in this area, I would highly suggest you drop by and do some unique Christmas shopping. I love the fact they have heated little shops that you can pop in to do your shopping and get out of the cold December weather. I will be featuring some of the lovely shops in posts the month of December, but here are a few just to give you a quick look:
United Leather was one of the first shops we saw and their items were gorgeous! Great colors of leather handbags at really wonderful prices. I really wished I had needed a new one, but that wasn't the case!!
These were terrific for the animal lover, by Its All About the Tail as the tails wagged on the clocks!the amazing Bryant Park Hotel is up in the sky, looking very chic
Now you know if Nutella is near me, I will find it! This stand was very busy and I can understand why!!
Did I say there was an animal lover stand? My assistant went crazy for these and did purchase a cat clock for her son and daughter-in-law...........
Bryant Park is just so quaint and lovely any time of year, but during the holidays, a bit extra special.
Views...views...views....they are always amazing when in New York City.......
Another great view of the shops....also there is quite a bit of seating here and tables if you have a bite to eat or a sip of cocoa........
Speaking of cocoa, please stop by this stand....No Chewing Allowed.....you will thank me....oh, okay I will just say Your Welcome now ......
Of course, Christmas ornaments are available for purchase as they make great gifts for friends & family. How pretty is this at night with the lovely tree and skating rink? The tree lighting ceremony is November 29th from 7 to 8pm, if you happen to be in the city. This photo and one below is from the Bryant Park website.

Oh, I LOVE those shops! Walking through the shops was always one of my favorite holiday activities in the city. I miss it so much! Plus, you are right about those No Chewing Allowed truffles. They may be the best chocolate I've ever had in my life! Pure decadence!
