La Maison du Chocolat

Okay so for some reason after the Macaron Cafe, I felt the need to post about one of the grand dames of Paris macarons! La Maison du Chocolat is a place you must try when in the city. They have a few locations which I will list at the end of this post. If you do not get the chance to see Paris, this chocolate shop will take you there -by way of chocolate. Their hot chocolate is wonderful and most locations have some seats you can take a break from sightseeing/shopping and have a cup. Here are some of my shots from this great chocolat maker:

30 Rockefeller Plaza 

1018 Madison Avenue (between E. 78 and 79th Sts)

63 Wall Street (between Hanover and Pearl Sts)

Most locations open 10am to 7pm Mon-Sat. 

Sunday hours 12pm to 6pm except Wall Street location is closed on Sundays
