Merry Christmas Eve

I cannot believe it is Christmas Eve! Where did the year go?

A little about what has been going on with me this year. So I was assigned a special project at work, which has taken many of my free hours. I am very happy to be on the project, and it has gone well, but has not left much time for blogging. These posts take a while to compose, I need to find an easier way to get them up quicker! I plan to keep up the blog for 2019 and beyond, but probably not posting every day. I do post regularly on Instagram so be sure you are following me there, and on the blog Facebook page. There is still so much to show you in New York City and I am thrilled that you visit here and enjoy the features!

On to some holiday photos, shall we :
While in the city for my birthday in December, I stopped by Tisserie, next to the Park Central Hotel. A great spot for coffee and a pastry, or a quiche as I had below. I enjoyed a pumpkin latte which was to die for as well!

Ornament shopping in the city is always fun, loved these Buddha designs
Chestnuts roasting on the streets of NYC! My Mom loved making these during the holidays, and those you find in the city are pretty amazing. Look at the size of those !
A wonderful gingerbread display in Williams Sonoma in Shops at Columbus Circle blew me away. It was of NYC of course, and Columbus Circle.
Grom is my favorite gelato spot, even in the winter and for the holidays they had the flavor of Panettone, which tasted EXACT! So darn good.
I stopped by the Holiday Shops at Columbus Circle, which had adorable baked items and free hot chocolate by Citi, which is always welcome during this time of year!

Our favorite bakery, Breads, does their to die for Babka in pie form for the holidays. The smell alone puts a smile on your face. The MUST try in the city if you have never had for 2019!
The lovely stars in the Shops at Columbus Circle always make me smile. I love the colors how they change, and it's gorgeous to see at night as well.

I hope you and your family have a most wonderful Christmas Eve.
