Mapping America's Road At The NY Historical Society

We are visiting the New York Historical Society today for some serious map history. This exhibit, Mapping America's Road , was on exhibit from November 3, 2017 to March 11, 2018. It is really a wonderful historical exhibit of maps from the 18th and early 19th centuries.
I love their library area, such gorgeous stained glass

I love seeing these old books from so many centuries ago

The signature of George Washington! Way too cool,  I love how he signs with President after his name

I really loved looking at this diary from 1776, so amazing for me it is still in decent condition.
