This awesome photo came from the
Library of Congress. They actually have a wonderful collection of vintage photos from all over the USA. This photo was taken around 1900. It looks so grand, doesn't it? The architecture is so amazing, and we are so lucky that many of these buildings are still standing for us to enjoy. One of the things I love about photography is that it just freezes time, which is just so special.
