I found another wonderful website with vintage photos titled
Old NYC Photos which sells many photographs for reasonable prices. This one is just fantastic, from an Italian bakery at 35 Carmine Street. I love the bread in the window! There is nothing like fresh baked Italian bread, when it's still warm, to take home and enjoy. It is so sad that Little Italy has shrunk so much to now only pretty much Mulberry Street. My grandparents came to the USA from Naples to Ellis Island, so much history in the island of Manhattan. I could see this photo framed in my kitchen for sure. What a treasure!
