I am not sure how many of you have an interest in researching your ancestors. I think with the shows Who Do You Think You Are and Finding Your Roots, it has become much more popular. I have been fascinated with my research of my family. This photo is of my Great Grandfather, Frank Paul or Francesco Paolo Nardone with his daughter on her wedding day. It is so wonderful for us that records from the 1800's have been kept and preserved to find out about our ancestors. I have been able to trace my Dad's Mom's family to my 7th great grandfather who was born in 1650 in Montemiletto, Avellino, Italy. The fast majority of my family on both sides were from a town near Naples called Avellino, and it seems to me a good place to visit one day.
