French Cooking Classes at The Maille Mustard Boutique



PARLEZ-VOUS FRENCH CUISINE? FETE BASTILLE DAY WITH FREE FRENCH COOKING LESSONS AND TASTING

Who: Cécile Delarue, author of The Everything Easy French Cookbook and Pierette Huttner, Maille Mustard Sommelier.

What: Celebrate the arrival of Bastille Day with a complimentary French cooking lesson and sample favorites such as tarte à la tomate et à la moutarde and mousse au chocolat courtesy of TastingsNYC. The blogger behind French and Parfait and author of the new Everything Easy French Cookbook will share her tips for simple to prepare, yet impressive-tasting, treats. In addition, the Maille Mustard Sommelier will reveal the many facets of the essential French ingredient, Dijon Mustard, and how to pair it with everything from appetizers to desserts.



Where and When: The Maille Boutique in New York, 185 Columbus Avenue at 68th St. on Saturday, July 11 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Demos start every half hour. 

Why: Bastille Day is always an excellent excuse to enjoy French food. Thanks to The Maille Boutique, New Yorkers can kick off the holiday with mouth-watering free bites, and, thanks to Cécile’s book, they can learn how to whip them up at home, too.
