This wonderful shot of a grocery store in 1939 in New York City. The prices are enough to really make you laugh! I love the Dr. Pepper soda holder! My Grandfather had a grocery store in his hometown, and I am sure it was similar to this one. Everything was so fresh, and they knew all their customers. A much simple time, but I bet it was wonderful!!
