Forever Chic Auction at Christie's Rockefeller Center

I was so thrilled to be in the city this weekend for my charity bus trip. We had a nice group of about 40 folks who really enjoyed themselves and we had lots of bags from the Lego store in the Flatirion! I will be showing you some of the Lego fun soon! I decided to pop in my favorite place, Christie's, with 2 co-workers who had never visited. Jeff Koons greeted us, how cool was this? He has caused much excitement in the city the last few months.
We viewed some items from the Forever Chic upcoming auction and there are some real beauties. This was as we first walked in and it was adorable!

On October 14, Christie's New York will present a curated design sale, Forever Chic, which will celebrate timeless style from modern luxury to the enduring appeal of the ancient. This innovative auction will encompass inspiring lighting, furniture, one-off design pieces, sculpture, Chinese works of art, pop-art and antiquities. With something for everyone, estimates range from $800 to $150,000 and the sale is expected to realize in excess of $1.5 million.

This was a fabulous painting we enjoyed as we first walked in, and I am not sure if it was part of the Forever Chic auction or not. Wonderful Americana Artwork. So delightful!
I loved the colors in this painting as well, and I do think these were from a separate auction from the Forever Chic items.
