LA Burdick Chocolate and The Cocoa Farming Future Initiative

Our friends at L.A. Burdick Chocolate are really going above and beyond for us chocolate lovers to enjoy the best that can be found. They are currently in Grenada helping the cocoa farmers as much as possible. Their current campaign of "Buy a Cocoa Tree" has just started, so I thought I would send you the information.

At L.A. Burdick Chocolate, we are committed to helping The Cocoa Farming Future Initiative (CFFI), a 501(c)3 supporting the small cocoa farmer and the fragile ecosystem in which they work. We believe some of the finest chocolate comes from the beans harvested on the Island of Grenada. Buying these young cocoa trees will help keep production alive - great chocolate is only as good as the cocoa beans from which it is derived.

Because of last year's success we are promoting the "Buy a Cocoa Tree" campaign again this year - but with a little bonus offer for you! (see below) - This is a timely campaign as it is the rainy season in Grenada and the ideal time to plant new cocoa trees.

For more information, visit CFFIGrenada.org. Please click HERE to purchase your trees today! Thank you.

What a great cause, and for $10 to really make a difference to a cocoa farmer. I think this is a fabulous idea, and I will be purchasing my tree very shortly. I love the idea of having a "Cocoa Tree" and the price is very affordable indeed!
