Is this not the coolest window?? I just ♥ Fifth Aveue, if not to shop, to enjoy all the amazing window art up and down the street! These were of course the classic Louis Vuitton, what looked like full size dinosaurs! And they are in gold to boot!
I really liked the fact they gave you the history behind each one, being educated by Louis Vuitton is so much fun!
Ahh, the wholly grail of bags! What a beauty! I got my satchel on my 21st birthday as my Mom was such a great lady. The following year I bought myself the wallet. I went in Saks with my uncle who right as I was purchasing had to use the men's room. I had the clerk wrap it up so fast as I didn't want him to see how much my wallet was, perfect timing. He came back, I had my wallet in my Saks bag, and that was that! Funny how we remember such stories, isn't it ?
I really enjoyed these windows quite a bit!
If the real dinosaurs were gold, that would have been very chic, don't you think?
This window and the one below were just too much! I love how all the bags are all around the dinosaur! The window artists have such great ideas, you wonder what they will come up with next. I cannot wait to see!!
