Laduree is open in Soho

February 5, 2014 was the day there was a snow storm in New York City, along with everywhere else in the Northeast of the USA. This was also the day of the new Laduree salon opening in Soho. The above photo is from Laduree themselves of their Valentine's Day window.
Laduree is basically one of the BEST places in the world! They originate in Paris, France, and are titled a Tea Salon (sounds fabulous all on it's own). They do savory and sweet dishes, their sweet are out-of-this-world. This above photo from the Laduree twitter page is a brunch. A very, very amazing kind of brunch. So elegant and understated. I cannot wait to visit here once our zillion tons of snow goes away! A lovely Vanity Fair article on the opening can be found here with gorgeous photos.
The Laduree on the Upper East Side where I have been a visitor many times. This is just a shop with macarons (some of the BEST in the world), jams, perfumes and other items for sale. You cannot sit down and enjoy here, which is why the Soho salon is so exciting.
Everything they sell has just such a elegance to it. The packaging is just divine!
Macaron trees are heaven!
The scarfs and candles are quite opulent, don't you think?
This apron is just too adorable!
One of these days I am going to go in the store and see these and buy them. They speak to me during each visit! So darn cute !!

You are so so lucky. My apartment the last time I was in Paris was seconds from Lauderee. Shear heaven.

I'm dying to visit! The new one in Soho is actually walking distance from my apt. but the only problem is that I'm laid up with a bad ankle right now. I know what you mean about those keychains! They speak to me too :)
