10 Best NYC Brunch Spots

Brunch is a very popular event in New York City. It is a great way to meet up with friends and family, prior to a day of visiting museums, shopping and just enjoying all that the city has to offer. This is not only for tourists, but the local folks take brunch very seriously. The selection of places that serve brunch is quite vast, so I felt a top 10 list was in order. Here is my list, with a few suggestions for you, in no particular order (as always) :

Lafayette - Lemon Pancakes or Smoked Salmon Benedict On Brioche

Financier Patisserie - my old standby, Les Tartes or Les Quiches, great for brunch time!!

Norma’s at Le Parker Meridian – West 50’s – ANYTHING here is FABULOUS

Buttermilk Channel – American/Carroll Gardens –
Fried Pork Chop & Cheddar Waffles or Pecan Pie French Toast

Rosemary’s – Italian/West Village – Lamb Panini or
Orecchiette with broccoli rabe and homemade sausage

Harry’s Italian Pizza Bar – Financial District – Brunch special is great deal for $16.95 plus all you can drink Mimosa's or Bloody Mary's as well as coffee or tea, Nutella French Toast would be my top choice!

Almond – Flatiron –
Ricotta Pancakes or Almond Hash

Clinton Street Baking Company - Lower East Side - Anything here would be amazing

The Stand NYC - Gramercy - Crab Caked Benedict or Pannette French Toast or Chicken Pot Pie Bread Bowl

This post is making me hungry! I don't live in NYC, but the next time I visit, I'll have to check out one of these spots for brunch. Thanks for the suggestions!

Brunch is like an event unto itself in NYC. I really want to try Rosemary's. Have heard good things about it. My fave spots are Tartine and Cafe Orlin.

Brunch as you say is a great way to catch up with friends. Great suggestions here and I remember you mentioning Financier Patisserie before - this is somewhere I would love to try!
