Lord and Taylor's Vintage 2013 Christmas Windows

The holiday windows at Lord and Taylor on 5th Avenue were a real delight for me. This is actually the first time I am seeing them, I tend to do more Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman and Macy's each year. I was really impressed, and this will make me be sure I come back during the holiday season. Lord and Taylor is celebrating 100 years in 2015 of their iconic Fifth Avenue building and this is some tribute! Vintage New York City and shopping is what you will see below, and I think you will really enjoy it!
This was a little side window .....and who doesn't love sparkle??
Just totally adorable here with the New York taxi driving around the Lord and Taylor building
The elegance and class of these windows are a fabulous treat
A jewelry box with the lady twirling around and round, love all the pearls coming out of the box
Classy shopping lady with all her packages
I did shoot these in the morning, so sorry for the glare, but they did come out pretty well. I really loved this scene! Red carpets are just top-notch!
Sweet Sweet
I liked the sketches as well of various forms of transportation, the train and car, in this particular window
So fun and colorful, these windows make everyone smile
A romantic couple !!
This photo and the one below are from the side windows which were pretty cool too! The dress above reminds me very much of the Great Gatsby movie!

An adorable clown
My favorite scene. The amazing sweets table, but also the splendor of the costumes, I stood in front of this one for quite a bit of time. Just enjoying.

I hope you enjoyed this little visit to Lord and Taylor's holiday windows! It is amazing to me it is only 2 days left till Christmas Day. The time has really flown by this year! I hope you have all your shopping done, or close to it, at this time!

Here is a video from the unveiling of the windows in November:
