A Visit to the Bronx with MCNY Tours

I wanted to share with you some information about a great unique tour company that you should all be familiar with! MCNY Tours is one of our sponsors on this blog, and it is so in line with what I love about tours in New York City. When most of us think of The Bronx, we think of Yankee Stadium, or maybe The Bronx Zoo. What we do not always realize is there are so many cultural, historic and foodie places in this borough to be visited as well.
Arthur Avenue in the Bronx is a must for any foodie. There is actually more merchants here than the one in Manhattan, which has decreased in size big time. MCNY Tours has a fabulous tour that will take you right to Arthur Avenue from Manhattan. It makes it very easy for you to explore this area without having to worry about getting lost or going in the wrong direction. Having the bus with you is also great for holding all those purchases you may make, carrying bags with me all day is one of my pet peeves of being in the city!
Little Italy of the Bronx on the famous Arthur Avenue
New York Pizza is some of the BEST you will enjoy and this area of the Bronx gets it spot on
The new Yankee stadium for that team that has so much history

If you feel you have toured all of Manhattan, this is a great way to do something unique on a trip to New York City. You leave from Manhattan, and travel by bus to the Bronx, and get to enjoy all the wonders it has to offer.  It is so much more smooth of a day when you have a tour guide who knows where all the best places are located.

Some of the tours offered are:

Little Ireland Food, Historic Bus Tour – Wednesday

Great Kim Yes most people do not realize all the history that is in the Bronx borough. The cottage would be very cool to see in person!

The Bronx seems like a borough that is ripe for exploration. I've only been to Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Zoo, the Botanical Garden and Wave Hill which is such a beautiful garden. I think I need to make a trip up to visit Arthur Avenue soon. The food tours sound great!

I have to be honest...I have never been to NYC! I know! But that pizza makes me wanna book my flight right now. I can't imagine how different the surroundings were when Edgar Allen Poe was in that cabin. Amazing. Visiting from SITS and decor8 classmate!
