Bouchon Bakery in the Time Warner Center

Bouchon Bakery is the mastermind behind chef/owner Thomas Keller. It is one of the most fabulous places for a bite to eat, breakfast, lunch or dinner. With 2 locations in New York City, as well as Las Vegas, Beverly Hills and Yountville, California, Mr. Keller is doing everything right.
This is the location in the Time Warner Center on the Upper West Side
They have an area where you can order items to take with you
or some small tables you can enjoy your treat rather quickly
the sandwiches are out of this world as they are done with a bit of French flair
the cookie on the top, at left, is the Nutter Butter (homemade) and is out of this world
the cookie next to it is called TKO or Thomas Keller Oreo
both of these cookies are better than the original versions
the macarons below are pretty good as well
I actually sat down for lunch at the restaurant area with this Shrimp Panzanella Salad with avocado. A very light and flavorful way to take a break from my day in the city.

in my opinion, reinforced after spending time in Paris recently, there's nothing that beats a freshly baked baguette with some of the amazing sea salt butter Parisians spread ... ooooh la la ... next time i am in TWC i will stop and see how closely Chef Keller gets to Parisian perfection

Bouchon is one of my favourite places to eat in NYC. We visited the one at Rockefeller Centre. Thomas Keller is one of the Chefs I admire. Very talented. I am glad you discovered Rosemary and her excellent Blog "Where Five Valleys Meet."
