Maple Bacon Smoked Coffee?

Yes, you read the title of this post correctly. If you are not aware, bacon has become a huge flavor in foodie land. Chocolate, cupcakes and now yes, coffee have had the pleasure of a marriage with bacon. It all works quite well and I don't think it is going to be going away any time soon.

Coffee Bean Direct makes a Maple Bacon Smoked flavor and was kind enough to send me some to try for myself. I have to admit, I was a bit not to sure about this, but the flavor is really quite wonderful. It is not too strong, just a hint, and my mom had to have 2 cups when we first tried it! I love how the house smells when you make a good cup of coffee.
This is another of their unique coffee flavors which I think sounds pretty tasty. I always love to try unique flavors in coffee, and this company has some fabulous ones: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Banana Almond Parfait, Spiced Apple Cider.
They also have a nice selection of teas, Earl Grey is one of my favorites. It is nice to be able to receive coffee that has been just freshly roasted to your door. You can clearly taste the difference in flavor and body. They also sell non-flavored coffees if you prefer on their website. You can purchase the coffee whole bean or ground and their shipping fees are very reasonable as well.

If you love coffee and/or tea like I do, and are looking for some new flavors, please give Coffee Bean Direct a try as I think you will be very pleased.
