Photo Gallery Tuesday "Marble Art at the Met"

This gorgeous marble piece at the Met Museum was just amazing. Much to my error, while I was there for an event, looking for a place to sit, a l m o s t sat here! I was quickly informed Oh no no and withdrew back. Then I looked at the information on the piece, dates it back to France 17th century. Talk about having  a red face! How amazing is it that we have such pieces to enjoy in 2012, I think that is just so fabulous! Now I also know to watch when visiting where I decide to try and take a rest! Hope you are having a really wonderful Tuesday!!

Funny situation, one that we all can probably relate to. That's what makes going to unfamiliar places such an adventure! :) And we don't even need to go out of the country to find ourselves in one of those embarrassing situations. Thanks for sharing that Rosemary.
