Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

From the 2012 Architectural Digest Home Design Show. The New York Design Center, along with 9 of their Access to Design designers, each imagined 2 place settings for their dream dinner party guests - all with one thing in common - they are no longer living. Set in a glamorous haunted mansion, the designer's tablescapes represent a different personality from the past, challenging their 18 dinner guests to Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

I hope you enjoyed this very cool idea from the 2012 Architectural Digest Home Design Show. Now, I must ask YOU, if you could have dinner with any 6 people no longer living, who would they be? Here are my six and this is very hard for me but here we go:

  1. Mary Colella (my mom's mom whom I never knew)
  2. James Dean
  3. King Tut
  4. Coco Chanel
  5. Marie Antoinette
  6. Julia Child

I have a feeling this would be one heck of a table conversation going on here with all these amazing people!!
I am looking forward to your picks, it is really a challenge to just pick 6 people!!

I love how they seat Tintin, Salvador Dali and Farrah Fawcet all together. What a conversation that would be!
