Beacon's Closet in Brooklyn

Beacon's Closet is a very cool place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I had the chance to check it out last year and was impressed with the large selection of vintage clothing available. The show Mad Men has really pumped up the volume for vintage items. Vintage is a great way to recycle old clothing but you can also appreciate the styles from years ago as still hip and chic.
They have wonderful displays of the items, like in a department store.
The guys are not forgotten here, as there is a men's section too.
Household items are here as well, loving the Russian Doll glasses Big Time !!
Stocking selection is really very cool and varied.
Oh, yes, then there is the shoes....many, many shoes....if you are into that type of thing.
Right across the street is the Brooklyn Brewery, which is another great place to check out. You can visit 2 great places here with 1 trip, so fabulous!!
We had the great chance to see this awesome car in front of Beacon's Closet during our visit. The color was just gorgeous, and the car was in impeccable condition. You can also make purchasing online at Beacon's website.

Today's Words of Wisdom:“Never use the word “cheap”. Today everybody can look chic in inexpensive clothes (the rich buy them too). There is good clothing design on every level today. You can be the chicest thing in the world in a T-shirt and jeans — it’s up to you.” ― Karl Lagerfeld
