We are back at the 2011 Macy's Flower Show and The Borgias Tablescape.....the Borgias is a new Showtime original series (oh how I do miss The Tudors) with oscar winner Jeremy Irons as the star....
Showtime is one of the flower show sponsors and I loved The Tudors exhibit last year....you can see my post for that HERE but this one was quite amazing as well ....
it really looked like Pope Alexander VI was going to sit right down to dinner!!
everything looked very much to the period of the show
these books looked so old......it gave the right look for the display
I find those who create these displays just so talented.....this really looked quite wonderful, don't you think?
the display was located in The Cellar of Macy's where they also have their Culinary Council kitchen
Chef Todd English is on the Culinary Council and he had a cooking event inspired by Rodrigo Borgia (Pope Alexander VI) during the flower show
I had to get a close up of that arrangement...how gorgeous was this?? Be sure to mark your calendar in 2012 for Macy's flower show as it is really a great event to attend!!
