A Victorian Tea in Pennsylvania !!

My mom and I attended a wonderful Victorian Tea a few weeks ago and since there are many Victorian lovers out there, thought I would share. It was held at Miss Molly's Tea Time in Ashley, Pa. We had a living history actress, Lisa Lewis, in attendance who showed us some great Victorian era clothing and accessories. Let's take a peek back in time........

Lisa has a traveling museum of vintage authentic victorian era items.....
this beaded purse was just adorable and probably could be used today....
the undergarmets of the day made us very happy we were not living in victorian times....
the show reminds me of the Titanic era which I love and actually saw the exhibit in Times Square last year
some items were very dainty like this beautiful pink dress with lace.....
It is so wonderful these items can be preserved for us to view in 2010 !!
Hats of that era were just wonderful as the one Lisa is wearing and holding
one of my fave shots with the boots of a little one...so adorable they were !!
another gorgeous purse ....this definately could be used today ......
we did have some little tea sandwiches as well while we watched the fashion show
did someone say dessert? of course we had that as well ....

This looks like a very interesting Victorian tea! The demo and the finger foods and desserts all look delightful.
