Photo Gallery Tuesday " Murray's Cheese"

Murray's Cheese Shop on Bleecker Street in the West Village is an institution. If you have never visited, be sure to have this on your list for your next visit. Founded by Murray Greenberg in 1940, they will ship cheese right to your front door! The monthly cheese club brings different selections to you each time, what a great idea !! They also have classes available, which is something unique to do if you feel you have done all the "touristy" stuff in the city. 3 doors down from the shop is their new restaurant called Murray's Cheese Bar and it is always highly reviewed.

So, what is your favorite type of cheese? I like all the Italian ones, but of course, you probably already knew that!!

Photo Gallery Thursday " A Chocolate Doggie"

How adorable is this dog? Chocolate brown, very big and oh so friendly. We met him and his owner while walking in the West Village. I have never owned a dog, we had a cat when I was little, so not all that easy around them. New York City has so many dogs, of every breed, and they are some of the best behaved I have ever witnessed. As long as they seem well behaved, I am eager to give them a pat on the head! Does anyone know the breed of this dog? NYC is a walking city and having a dog seems pretty natural to most who have the pleasure of residing there.

Il Cantuccio NYC - A Must Visit for You

Il Cantuccio is just a place I love to continue to support. Located on Christopher Street, in the West Village, it is just a wonderful artisan Italian bakery.
