Michel Cluizel Madison Avenue New York City

I had the chance to visit one of my favorite chocolate shops when in the city in December, Michel Cluizel. They just recently moved from 5th Avenue to Madison Ave and East 35th Street. I really like the new area, near the Morgan Library, Empire State Building and Macys! They are not only a chocolate shop, but a cafe as well, which makes everyone just so darn happy! Michel Cluizel has been making chocolate since 1948, and it is quite the most amazing! Let's take a peek into the new cafe:
I was very happy to see they were right next to a Shoe Repair Shop! Two things that make me quite the happy person!

I really loved the tile floors!

Wonderful holiday gifts during any season but these Christmas bars were too adorable to eat!
This is a Macaronlat where chocolate meets macaron. Why didn't someone think of this sooner??
Praliné filled celebration lollipops

The seating area was very nice, open and modern. They will be serving pastries like below and drinks to go with them, just as they did in their prior location.

The ultimate spread, for your toast, ice cream or just eaten by the spoonful !
A typically French little basket which enhances the traditional Michel Cluizel “baguette” made out with 39% milk chocolate.
This is a great place to stop and relax from all the activities in this area! I highly suggest you add this to your "to do" list in New York City !

La Maison du Chocolat in New York City

La Maison du Chocolat is one of my favorites in NYC! My first french macarons were tasted here, which made me appreciate them such a great deal. A very different macaron from our American version.
La Maison du Chocolat is a luxury chocolate company located in the French commune of Nanterre, to the west of Paris, which actuates about 30 stores in the metropolitan areas of Paris, Cannes, London, New York City, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Is this chocolate tart not amazing? Love the mini version.
This is the lovely location in Rockefeller Center, Christie's is right across the street. A nice stop for a little something and a rest of your feet from walking all day.
The cold drinks they have here during the summer are some of the best you will ever taste.
I think you would be very well loved if you brought this to a party.
Adorable heart chocolates
Mendiant - Dark or Milk chocolate filled with almond, hazelnut, pistachio, raisin and orange peel
$76.00 per pound BUT oh so worth it !!
I did say I loved their cold drinks, didn't I ? They use their own fabulous ice cream to make these amazing refreshments. I would highly recommend if you are in the city during the summer months. The hot drinks are good too, since the cold season is upon us.
How could you not love this display? I expected them to start talking to me any second!
What a lovely collection here! They have quite a few locations in the city, you can check their website HERE for locations.
