One of my favorite shots from the Bergdorf Goodman holiday windows in 2011. Their windows are always just "over-the-top" creations and you really need to view them very slowly. You may miss some of the little details throughout the window if you go by too quickly. The windows for 2012 are said to be inspired by the 1920's jazz age. I can only imagine how amazing that is going to be.

I cannot believe the holidays are almost here! I don't know about you, but I think the last few months have just flown on by. This is one of the fabulous holiday windows from the classic Bergdorf Goodman store on 5th Avenue. I just loved everything about this look. The elegant handbag, the gorgeous shoes (I wouldn't be able to walk in them BUT fabulous), the hat, the jewelry....oh I just love the whole look! How great would it be wearing this outfit, in NYC, with a little snow dropping? Just classic. Ready or not for the holidays, they are well on their way! Be sure to make your Tuesday the best it can be!!

Another one of Bergdorf's 2011 Holiday Windows and it is just amazing. Their holiday windows are one of the best "must see" during the holiday and also throughout the whole year. They just really use all their talent and creativity each time a new window is shown. The last photo is from their website and photographer so you can see the whole idea, as well as their meaning of the window. We were there on a very busy Saturday, and it was impossible to obtain a shot of the whole window that day. Please enjoy !!

“Teacher’s Pets” takes viewers inside a 3-dimensional paper classroom filled with black and white paper animals, including a life-sized paper zebra, ostrich, panda bear, aardvark, white peacock, and more. As the “students” pose within a cascade of zoological textbooks, the teacher – dressed in a black and white lace Marchesa gown – presides over the paper bestiary. Noted New York calligrapher, Bernard Maisner, provided hand-lettered labels, in Latin, for all the animals.

We are back at the amazing windows of Bergdorf Goodman. These really gave me the feeling of Alexander McQueen and were just so dramatic. The dresses were works of art all in themselves.
This mini window with the Judith Leiber bags was sweet, even if it had some mice in it .......
that little mouse is rocking that tutu !!! the teddy bear bag in the back will set you back about $4,695.00!!

Bergdorf Goodman's store looked quite festive this year with many wreaths all over the windows.......this is "the" place for holiday windows in New York City ....
the men's store across the street had these great windows as well......quite unique

The Aquarium window, with fish made by artist Brett Windham that are encrusted with mosaic tile, and rhinestones, gems, and sequins for good measure.
