I had the pleasure of meeting Jess, the owner of Olive Natural Beauty, on twitter recently. She has a fabulous skin care line which is made of natural products and olive oil. It is pretty widely known that olive oil is great for your skin. This is why many Italians and Greek folks have the best skin around! I was thrilled to be able to try some of her products and help her spread the world about her Save our Skin Campaign.
The scents of her products are those found in Italy. Lemon and Lavender, Oat and Honey, Rosemary, Sweet Fennel and Rose. They are not heavily scented, just enough of a hint of the flavor.
I tried the Savior Salve in Rosemary (love the name!!), Goddess Glow Sweet Fennel Body Scrub and the Natural Beauty Lip Balm in Oats and Honey. The products are really very lovely and with winter coming up, they really help fight against chapped skin. When you use natural ingredients, you can always expect to have wonderful results. I was very pleased with how soft these products made my skin, and I really loved the light scent of each one.
Here is some information on the Save our Skin Campaign:
WHY OUR SKIN NEEDS SAVING:
-DID YOU KNOW that your skin is the largest organ in your body?
-Your skin absorbs a part of almost anything it touches. Yet, many popular beauty care products contain harmful ingredients such as preservatives, synthetic fragrances, and dyes that are in fact directly damaging to your skin and body.
-Of course most of us don’t want to use products containing hurtful ingredients, but I've found that many people are either unaware that their products contain harmful ingredients or are naïve to how damaging their products truly are.
-Due to a lack of industry regulation, many brands that you see labeled as “organic” and “natural” are in reality anything but. This is why Olive Natural Beauty is on a mission to SAVE OUR SKIN!

These products sound heavenly! Does she sell them around here anywhere?
You can purchase them online and prices are reasonable I think. Love that they are all natural and with olive oil.
