Sargent and Paris The Met Museum Part 1

I had the pleasure of attending the press preview for Sargent and Paris at the Met Museum which has now moved to Paris at the Musée d'Orsay until January 11, 2026. It is truly a lovely exhibit, and Sargent's work is one of my most favorites. Please enjoy the art below, and if you can make it to Paris, this would be a wonderful exhibit to see in person. I always expect the person in the painting to blink at me when I am looking at them in person, they look so real. 

The frames are almost as interesting at the paintings, and I have been watching restorers on You Tube which allows you to see how much work goes into the restoration process. In many cases, the frame is restored as well as the painting itself.
