The Little Beet Table Restaurant Review

I had the pleasure of dining on Memorial Day with the very talented Ellen Christine at The Little Beet Table.  This place opened around November 2014 by Franklin Becker, who is really into the health food scene. The restaurant is gluten free and menu is seasonal.
The decor was lovely, very simple
FRESH CAVATELLI english peas, mint, parmesan
TENDER SHRIMP chickpeas, garlic, chili
The appetizers were just out of this world! The shrimp had such flavor to them, I was really very impressed. I couldn't tell these were GF in the least. The pasta was very tasty, we were both smiling while trying these dishes!
OLIVE OIL POACHED COD shiso, zucchini, yellow squash, nasturtium

A gorgeous dish, the cod was amazing I am told, but the veggies were served cold, which Ellen Christine didn't care for. They advised that was done on purpose, she said she wasn't too sure she liked that idea.

SLOW COOKED SALMON wild nettle pistou, roasted radishes, bok choy

My salmon melted in my mouth, was a very generous portion, and lots of flavor.

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE BAR
salted cookie crumble, mint ice cream
STRAWBERRY-APPLE CRUMBLE 12
oat streusel, rhubarb syrup, vanilla ice cream

Desserts were quite good as well, I would be back here for sure, would love to try their lunch menu. A great place for those who need to eat GF, but also for those like myself willing to try the food, I thought it was wonderful. There was lots of flavor in each dish, and that is what you need for a perfect meal!
